College Preperation

Getting a college degree requires preperation.
 

There are many things that need to be done to get into college.  Here is a list of things to do and when you need to do them.

Before Graduation
After Graduation

  • Take the ACT and SAT your senior year.

    • You may need to take it several times to get the scores you want/need.

  • Apply to the college you want to attend.

  • Send your high school transcript to your college.

  • After you get accepted to your college, apply for a dorm. (Yes, before you graduate)

  • Apply for financial aid

  • Apply for scholarships

 

  •  Send your high school transcript to your college (Yes, again.  They will need your final school grades and credits.)

  • Get your college login

  • Check on your financial aid

  • Apply for more scholarships

  • Contact your roomate if you are living in the dorm.

  • Register for classes

  • Buy college books that are required

  • Sign up for campus meals - may be optional
